Thank you for taking time to visit the “S.M.I.L.E. Class” portion of the FBT website. It is exciting to share in the Lord’s work with such a diverse group of Christians that make up our class. The “S.M.I.L.E.” class is a vibrant collection of married couples ranging in age from the early 30’s to the early 50’s. Our members have children that range in age from infants to adults. Our class is the Sunday School home for business owners, policemen, truck drivers, engineers, accountants, retail managers, and various other occupations. Yet, despite all the differences in ages of children and types of careers, we all share a common love for the Lord’s work and for the study of His word.
Our class has spent a great deal of time in the study of Bible characters including Noah, Joseph, Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel, Abraham, and of course, the Lord Jesus. We have also enjoyed studying the history of the local Baptist church from its beginning through the present day. We have studied at length the opposing teachings of Creation and Evolution and along the way discovered the beauty in God’s handiwork in nature and its inhabitants.
We would love for you to consider joining us this Sunday as we worship the Lord together and study His word. I am sure you’ll find our class to be inviting and friendly. We enjoy getting to meet new people! Come in and grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast snack and join the family that we have in the S.M.I.L.E. class! We have had a number of new couples join us over the last calendar year and we have enjoyed watching them grow in the Lord. We’ve also enjoyed partnering with them as the Lord has seen fit to use them in some capacity of His work. We look forward to meeting you.
