Sharon Cox
The Ladies Only class of Florence Baptist Temple was begun by Sharon Cox, wife of Pastor Wayne Cox, approximately 20 years ago. Sharon saw the need for a class for ladies who were attending church, for one reason or another, without the company of their husbands. Since that time, the class has developed into an open class that any lady is welcome to attend for Bible study and fellowship.
Sharon enjoys the wonderful relationships that have formed through the class, not just with her but with one another. This is one class that you can not be in for a few minutes and not feel like you have been there for years. Through Bible study, fellowship, and just simple “girl talk”, this class has become one of the most vibrant ministries of Florence Baptist Temple. Whether you are a lady who is married, single, divorced, or widowed, we welcome you to our Ladies Only class and look forward to having you as a part of our family!
