Florence Baptist Temple has a heart for children of all ages, gender, and ethnic background. The Children’s Ministry at our church is one of the finest in our country and our bus ministry is a vital arm of that ministry. Our bus ministry covers the cities of Florence, Erlanger, Elsmere, Burlington, and Hebron. The bus ministry, known as “Chariots of Salvation”, supports and compliments the wide array of ministries in our church geared to young people.
This is not your average bus ride; this is a ride that features Happy Meals, Mystery Seat Prizes, Treasure Chest, Pizza Day, Giant Skittles giveaway, Cracker Jack Day, Hot Dog Day, and other exciting contests and promotions throughout each month.
We want to provide an opportunity for each bus rider to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ and that is where our main focus lies. Our desire is that parents will be a vital part of our bus ministry by encouraging their children to be faithful in riding the bus and also attending with their child. We love having parents visit our church and we know you would have a great time seeing our ministry in action! Every month, our bus director, Henry Stewart, heads up a publication called, “Parents as Partners”, which is provided to help develop an effective partnership with Florence Baptist Temple.
